Lavinia Stamps Blog Challenge 1: Anything Goes

I have never blogged before in my life, but wanted to enter the Lavinia Stamps competition, so here goes! I have only a few Lavinia Stamps to my name, but have always loved the images; I could no longer resist when I saw them again at the GNEP in Harrogate last week! Having purchased my stamps and my DVD I couldn't wait to play, and spent several hours the following day trying to master the brayer...this was a tricky business, but dare I say it, I think I might be there!

So now to the actual entry...I'm a bit daunted by the other entrants credentials and offerings, but you have to start somewhere I guess!

Inks used: Adirondack Sailboat Blue, Eggplant, Denim Blue and Purple Twighlight.
                 Versafine Onyx Black.
Stamps Used: Fairy Washing Line, Cherry Blossom, Mia, Stars 2
Other: White and mauve cardstock, brayer, glue pen, holographic Jones Tones glitter (medium)
I began by brayering the ink round the edges of my cardstock using Sailboat Blue and Purple Twilight. I then masked my moon, and edged with Denim Blue. I stamped Fairy Washing Line, but without inking the T-shirt, then just inked the t-shirt and stamped it on the moon.  I added the fairy, then clusters of small stars.  Inking just the top of the washing line stamp I made  an edging, then added the wild flowers. The top of the card was edged using Cherry Blossom, which I then coloured using a tombow watercolour marker. Finally a bit of Denim blue sponged round the edge and a sprinkle of glitter. The whole image is mounted on to white and purple cardstock.
