I was busy trawling the net one cold afternoon (searching for a birthday present for my niece actually) when I saw a tab on a website that said Smash! My curiosity was aroused and I had a flip through. It didn't mean a lot so I searched through Google and found a video... or twenty or thirty! I fell in love with what I saw, and ordered a Smash book for my niece and also one for me; well I had to be able to show her how to use it!!
I couldn't wait for it and the accessories I had ordered to arrive, and when the package came I got stuck in. I had seen lots of examples online; some people used it as a scrapbook; some as a journal but I wanted it as a junk journal. Now my family will tell you I am a bit of a squirrel. I hoard stuff dreadfully: the one letter my father wrote to me; birthday cards that I love; tickets for shows; you name it I keep it. So my Smash book became my place for all the junk I had hoarded since the age of about 6... I was determined to make it random and eclectic. No planned pages, just bung it in. So here is some of it.

| See? All kinds of random stuff goes in! |
| Sometimes pages are on a theme; I love the pumpkins , owls and black cats of halloween. |
| My smash books holds treasures I can't put anywhere else |
| I stick all sorts in; buttons, badges, chocolate wrappers; anything goes! |
Sometimes I make a mini scrapbook page, but never planned; just stick it down anywhere!
